Douglas Elliman’s Pasadena office closure has led to another get for Aaron Kirman’s Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.

The brokerage said it added Rex and Peter Owens, a father-son team previously with Elliman that will further bolster Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California’s growing San Gabriel Valley presence.

The addition of the Owens team now brings the brokerage’s Pasadena presence to eight, which is up significantly from the two agents it previously had in the area. The Owens’ arrival comes on the heels of Tim Durkovic, Erin King, Scott Lench, Marshall Peck, Scott Moore and Julie DeLorme earlier this year.

Kirman, who is Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California CEO and co-founder, said in a statement the Owens team will help to further “expand our footprint across Pasadena.”

Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California said it now counts over 150 agents companywide.

Elsewhere in Southern California there’s been plenty of other brokerage movement.

➤ Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California’s Encino office also poached Adi Livyatan, who does more than $100 million in annual sales. Her areas of focus include Encino, Brentwood, West Hollywood and Hidden Hills.

Livyatan was a long-time agent at Rodeo Realty, where she previously spent the past 20 years.

➤ Thomas Atamian & Associates is now affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty’s La Cañada Flintridge office.

The group, led by Thomas Atamian, includes Sabina Ohanessian, Raffi Kazanjian, Dave Li, Sonnia Odadjian and Jake Hofman. They come to Coldwell Banker with over $1 billion in career sales.

➤ Beverly Hills-based boutique Nourmand & Associates added Brenda Duenes, previously with Kennedy Wilson Property Services, to focus on business in the greater Los Angeles area. Duenes previously handled retail leasing at properties such as the Sherman Oaks Galleria and Hollywood Park.

Nourmand & Associates also brought on Antonella Vittoria to concentrate on business in the Hollywood Hills and Los Feliz markets.

There’s also Westside specialists Kris Mooney and Debra Ziven who have joined the brokerage. Mooney, a former Coldwell Banker branch manager between 2004 and 2012, has worked with Ziven since 1989.

➤ In Malibu, Compass nabbed Laura Alfano from Pinnacle. Alfano sold $24 million in real estate last year and works in the Malibu, Pacific Palisades and other Westside submarkets.

Compass also nabbed Robin Gaur from KW Hollywood Hills. Last year, he generated nearly $40 million in sales.

South of Malibu, in Newport Beach, the brokerage brought on the Robert Mack Group, which is led by Robert Mack. The team was previously with Fiv Realty.
