Silverlake Buyer

We have bought and sold a home before, and had a fine experience with our past agent. So many (mostly younger) agents tried to snap us up at viewings and we were about to go with one that also seemed "fine", but when we struck up a conversation with Mark at an open house, I knew within the hour he spent answering our questions, that we might have just met the perfect person for the job. Mark has the perfect balance of experience and enthusiasm – we asked him so many tangential, big picture, ambiguous and esoteric questions along the way and he not only had thoughtful, well-informed answers, but he delivered those answers clearly in a way that makes what is otherwise a complicated and at times overwhelming experience feel smooth and steady. He never showed any bias or agenda – he always centered what we were looking for and listened to the details. He was proactive in educating us and anticipating our needs, and he was ever-available to us when we had questions or wanted to meet up late in the evening to write a last minute offer together. In the first few weeks together (that’s all it took for us to find the house we bought) he spent every weekend compiling tours for us of our favorite properties and visiting each one together. He's also clearly an expert negotiator – this comes as second nature to him – and he does an excellent job building rapport with other agents so that he can give you the leg up in multi-offer situations. Other agents can tell he knows what he's doing, and he knows how to help you put your best foot forward. Mark knows LA back to front, and somehow, after decades of tireless work, he remains enthusiastic and energized to get out there and see more houses, and learn more about what the market is doing or threatening to do next. He's also just a kind, easy-going and funny person who you'll find hard not to want to be friends with.

This was my wife and I's first time going through the home buying process. Kimberly and Carson Turner at Nourmand & Associates did a fantastic job of making this a seamless transaction. Their attention to detail, communication, and ability to answer our hundreds of questions really elevated the whole process. Having their expertise to guide us through the biggest purchase of our lives was truly invaluable. I would wholeheartedly recommend going to Kimberly and Carson for all of your realtor needs. We will absolutely work with them again for any future real estate transactions!

As first-time homebuyers, we are so thankful for Carrie’s help. There are about 500 things you need to know about buying a home, and we knew zero. Carrie helped us better understand the market and never made us feel pressured. Thanks, Carrie, for your guidance and support!

Unlike most agents, Sheila saw the value in our property and was not just trying to make a quick sale. It was very delightful as my family and I had a unique home that no one knew how to value or market, and she did!
