Indoors: A paved path behind a low gate leads to the covered porch, where the red front door opens to a foyer with original hardwood floors that continue into the adjacent living room. Here, diamond-pane windows and a brick fireplace are also original. The dining room, behind the living room, has French doors that open to the porch.

Off the kitchen is a staircase that rises to the second floor, with the primary suite directly off the landing. The bedroom fits a king-size bed, and an alcove with a window now holds a desk. The primary bathroom has a glass-walled shower and a separate soaking tub beneath a row of windows. Another bedroom is also off the landing, as is a full bathroom where the walls are lined with pale blue tile.

Outdoor space: Behind the house is an in-ground swimming pool surrounded by grass, with a gazebo on one side and space for lounge chairs on another. A patio around the corner is shaded by mature trees, and a detached garage holds two cars.
