Jeff Prang was elected in 2014 as the 27th Assessor for the County of Los Angeles and re-elected in 2018 and 2022. Under his leadership, the Los Angeles County Assessors' Office has continued building the Assessor Modernization Project (AMP) -- a state-of-the-art property assessment system that has reshaped the Assessor's Office. Additionally, Prang achieved huge benefits in cost savings, performance, flexibility, and resource efficiencies after moving AMP to the Oracle Cloud.
Jeff is the President of the California Assessors' Association (CAA), a State Board of Equalization licensed appraiser, and an active member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Society of Auditor-Appraisers (SAA).
