LA’s home of bold expression and an anything-goes attitude, West Hollywood (locals call it WeHo) is all-night entertainment, fantastic restaurants and arguably the best people watching in town. WeHo is also the center of Los Angeles’ LGBT community and it’s boutiques, cafes, and cocktail lounges are defined by their openness. An amazing entertainment venue is never hard to find whether it’s the famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. or the Troubadour, a small music venue favorite of Angelinos. West Hollywood itself is situated between Beverly Hills and Hollywood, taking the best of both areas for a hip design-focused destination. Cottages and California bungalows line its quiet side streets. School options are a bit on the low side, but there are available options such as Pacific Hills. One of Los Angeles’ liveliest areas, West Hollywood is a great option for a young couple or anyone looking to live in a “city never sleeps” area!
