An upscale neighborhood with a small town feel, Glendale is one of LA’s favorite suburbs. It is located on the eastern edge of the San Fernando Valley and is an easy drive to Downtown as well as hip neighbor Eagle Rock. Homes in the area tend to be ranch-style or apartment complexes. The Americana mall is one of the best in LA and calls Glendale home. It is more than just a standard shopping center offering green space and cultural events. Its upscale shops and restaurants entice residents throughout the week. Glendale is also home to one of the largest Armenian communities in the world and offers some of the best Armenian cuisine in the country. Historic theaters such as the Alex Theater are a draw for residents as well. School options are strong in the area.
