Meet Sheila
Sheila D. Simmons launched her real estate career in New York City where maximum luxury and powerful negotiations converged. It was a natural progression post Interior Design studies at Parsons The New School. Additionally, she collaborated with acclaimed NYC architects and designers who have led the industry and set standards for a global presence through innovation and design.
Sheila attributes her oeuvre to having lived on both coasts. “I feel fortunate that I am a hybrid and my persona reflects both the West Coast and East Coast." Sheila’s California effervescence and New York City business acumen command a global perspective, both of which have served an affluent clientele. Sheila’s appeal is her rigorous work ethic and ease working in the luxury market (all price points). She sculpted her pedigree, work ethic and strategic negotiating skills from her astute NYC clients, where a nothing-less-than-superior mindset dictated the embodiment of success. Sheila’s pursuits are not limited to selling luxury real estate but also influence and preserve the California we love. Sheila has served as a Brentwood Community Council board member since 2018, allowing her to work alongside policymakers, elected officials, and business leaders to shape the fabric of our neighborhoods. Additionally, she has authored several bill proposals aimed at strengthening local and statewide communities. Sheila also sponsors the South Brentwood Residents Association Annual General Meeting, which hosts elected officials, including representatives from the White House.
Outside of work, Sheila thrives on California’s good vibrations and seeks to absorb as much culture and global influence as possible. An avid art lover, she has visited four continents, 11 countries, 15 international cities—including all major global market cities—and 50 museums worldwide. Her passion extends to attending high-profile auctions at Christie’s and Sotheby’s in New York City.
