A Los Angeles native and a licensed RE agent since 2003, Brenda’s deep roots in the community give her a unique insight into the area’s real estate landscape. She also has a strong background in finance, having served as a senior lending officer at Citibank from 2011 to 2023, and before that at Wells Fargo from 2008 to 2011. This further enriches Brenda’s ability to guide clients through the complexities and intimidation of large real estate transactions. Her ability to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and educated throughout the home-buying process has helped her build lasting relationships. Over these years of experience, she has worked with hundreds of clients and has built many strong friendships along the way. Brenda has navigated through two recessions in her real estate career, but her passion for real estate and her clients has never wavered.
Brenda brings an extensive knowledge of the Southern California market, having developed a keen understanding of local trends and market cycles. Before joining Nourmand & Associates, along with her prior 20+ years as a high-net-worth loan officer, Brenda worked at Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, where she focused on commercial retail leasing throughout the greater Los Angeles area, representing landlords and tenants. Notable transactions include Sherman Oaks Galleria, Hollywood Park, Sprouts, Whole Foods, and other high-profile tenants.
Brenda grew up in Eagle Rock and later moved to the charming neighborhood of Sparr Heights in Glendale to raise her daughter as a single mother. Brenda considers her daughter to be her proudest achievement. She resides in Sherman Oaks with her husband, in a neighborhood where they enjoy the walkability to local restaurants, and shops along with morning bike rides and hikes. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and practices yoga to stay balanced, focused, and ready. Brenda serves as the founding board member of the Mental Health and Wellness Rotary Club and is a frequent volunteer at Baby2Baby. Brenda's years of experience in the real estate market and her love of giving back to the community through volunteering have been thoroughly fulfilling and keep her connected with those around her.
