Originally from the “Gold Coast” of Long Island NY, Alison moved to Los Angeles over 15 years ago with one solid goal – to become a homeowner. One year later she and her husband bought their first home in Highland Park and her love for all things real estate was cemented. 14 years later she still gets a thrill leading clients through the journey of home buying and selling.
Having lived in New York, St. Louis, London, San Francisco, Washington DC and Los Angeles, Alison possesses a unique understanding of different parts of the country - from architecture to lifestyle to expectations. This knowledge has given Alison a unique ability to cater to the diverse needs of her clients, from those moving to the Eastside from other parts of LA and for those moving to Los Angeles from other parts of the country (or world). Known as the “NELA Specialist”, Alison has extensive knowledge and familiarity with Northeast Los Angeles. She is passionate about interior design and her clients often utilize her design expertise to help envision new spaces and to make their homes shine before selling. Alison has a BA in Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis and an MA in Media and Public Affairs from The George Washington University in DC. Prior to real estate, she worked in public radio as a producer at WETA in Washington DC, NPR, and APM’s Marketplace.
