Welcome to Bel Air
You’ll know you’ve arrived in Bel Air when you feel like you’re driving through the European countryside. A very affluent hillside neighborhood on LA’s Westside, it has two main entrances on Sunset Boulevard: the West Gate at Bellagio Road and the East Gate at Beverly Glen Boulevard. Founded in 1923, the area has only single-family homes and together with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills forms a third of the Platinum Triangle. Remote-operated gates and deep driveways typify Bel Air, one of the world’s most exclusive residential neighborhoods.
Security guards patrol at all hours. Largely recognized as the location of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, it is among the most known and respected areas in Los Angeles, if not all of California. Bordered by the UCLA campus, 405 freeway, and Beverly Glen, a nearby attraction is the Getty Center, one of the world’s leading art museums. On its outskirts is one gated community: Bel Air Crest is very exclusive and high-end.
